Many stroke survivors have to re-learn how to read (sometimes essentially from scratch). This is a reading and comprehension guide to be paired with J.R.R. Tolkien's The Hobbit (not included) for people with aphasia who are able to read short books independently. Use this reading guide to practice reading comprehension, vocabulary, working memory, and sustained/alternating attention. Read aloud to improve fluency with oral reading.
